Recreational opportunities for every season abound in Aberdeen! Walk, bike, or jog down several newly-developed paths in and around the city. Roller blades and bike rentals are available. Amateur sporting activities are everywhere - children's tee-ball, baseball, and soccer; adult softball and two manicured golf courses. Aberdeen is renowned for its abundance of tennis courts - more per capita than any city in the state.

Indoor recreational activities are particularly popular in the fall and winter months. Basketball can be enjoyed at gymnasiums throughout the city. Hockey and recreational skating take place at the Holum Expo Indoor Rink. Darts, bowling, bridge and bingo - all take place every night of the week. Swim indoors at the YMCA or Northern State University.

Trapshooting enthusiasts will feel right at home at multifaceted Aberdeen Gun Club. Beautifully developed indoor and outdoor archery ranges are also available.
